A group of pro-Israel advocates is heading to the Holy Land to show support for Israel and the Jewish people.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore, president of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, is accompanying a group of Christian leaders to Jerusalem to present a proclamation of solidarity to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli people tomorrow, September 1.

They want to respond to the Obama administration’s efforts to force Israel back to its 1967 armistice lines — a demand that the prime minister has reluctantly agreed to on two conditions — and they want to show their support for the Jewish state in the face of the U.N.’s threat to carve a Palestinian state out of the covenant land. Overall, the group wants “to let them know [they] do not have to bow to the pressure of the world,” says Cordoza-Moore. She assures the nation that “we are standing with you. We as Americans will vote, and we will remove these people from office because they do not represent us. 2012 is coming very quickly, and we who are pro-Israel advocates, who love Israel, who love our Jewish brethren, do not have short memories. Israel is at the top of our reason to vote.”

She adds that the U.S. delegation hopes to assure the Israeli government and people that the Lord stands with them, and so do American Christians.
